Accounts & access

Do I need an account to use Stargen?

Yes. You need an account to generate images and short clips, track your token balance and see your usage history. Browsing the public gallery does not require an account.

Can I use one account for my whole team?

At the moment, Stargen supports one login per account. You can share access inside a small team, but all usage will appear under a single token balance and billing history.

Can I change my email address later?

Email changes may require an additional verification step for security reasons. You can update account details from the Settings section in your dashboard.

Tokens & pricing

How do tokens work?

When you generate images or short clips, a small number of tokens is deducted from your balance. The exact amount depends on the settings and models behind the scenes.

Do tokens expire?

Tokens are not designed to expire quickly. However, in line with our Terms, we may close very old, inactive accounts after prior notice.

Do I have to subscribe to a monthly plan?

No. Stargen uses a pay-as-you-go model. You buy token packs when you need them and use them at your own pace.

How can I estimate how many tokens I will need?

You can use the Token Calculator to preview typical token usage for images and short clips, and then choose a pack that fits your workload on the Pricing page.

Using Stargen

What can I generate with Stargen?

You can generate images and short clips for use in campaigns, presentations, websites, social posts and more, as long as you respect our Terms and any applicable content policies.

Can I control aspect ratio and duration?

Yes. Image tools support several common aspect ratios, and video tools support aspect ratio, resolution and short durations that are ideal for feeds and stories.

Can I reuse prompts and settings?

You can reuse prompts, as well as brand presets and projects, to keep a consistent style across multiple generations and client projects.

Do you support long-form video?

Stargen focuses on short clips optimised for formats like reels, stories and quick motion assets. Longer formats are not a current priority.

Gallery & privacy

Why are generations shown in the public gallery?

The gallery helps users understand what is possible with Stargen and provides inspiration for new projects. It shows a stream of recent generations.

Can I make my generations private?

Right now, all generations are public by design. This may change in future, but the current version of Stargen assumes public outputs.

Can I remove something from the gallery?

If you delete a generation from your dashboard, it will no longer appear in the gallery. Deletion is permanent and should be used carefully.

Can visitors download my images or clips?

Visitors can view your content in the gallery. Standard browser behavior may allow image downloads, but there is no special API for bulk download.

Billing & support

Which payment methods do you accept?

Stargen supports common card payments. Specific options depend on your region and payment provider.

Where can I see my invoices and payment history?

You can view your top-ups and billing history in the Billing section of your dashboard.

What happens if a payment fails?

If a payment fails, tokens will not be added to your balance. You can try again later or use a different payment method.
