Secure and transparent payment processing for Token purchases

Introduction

At PRIMERENT VENTURES LTD ("we," "our," "us"), we aim to provide a smooth, secure, and transparent payment experience for purchases made on stargen.co.uk.

Our Commitment: We prioritize security, transparency, and compliance in all payment transactions.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following methods for purchasing Tokens via our platform:

Payment Methods: We do not accept cash, bank transfers, cheques, or crypto payments at this time.

2. What You Are Buying (Tokens)

Tokens are pre-paid, non-monetary credits used to access paid features (e.g., image/video generations and related add-ons).

Tokens are:

  • Not legal tender — they have no cash value
  • Non-transferable — cannot be transferred between users
  • Platform-specific — no value outside the Service
  • Non-redeemable — cannot be exchanged for cash

A reference rate of 100 Tokens = £1.00 GBP may be shown for clarity. The UI always displays the Token amount and total price before payment.

Transparent Pricing: You will always see exactly how many Tokens you're purchasing and the total cost before confirming payment.

3. Payment Process & Settlement

By confirming payment on the top-up page, you authorise PRIMERENT VENTURES LTD (or our payment processor acting on our behalf) to charge your selected payment method for the displayed total amount.

Upon successful authorisation and settlement, Tokens are immediately credited to your StarGen account balance.

Instant Access: Your Tokens are available for use immediately after successful payment.

In some cases your bank may place a temporary authorisation hold; if the transaction later fails, the hold is released by your bank (timing varies by issuer).

If a transaction is partially approved or interrupted, we may prompt you to re-attempt payment. Tokens are credited only for successfully settled amounts.

We may set per-transaction and daily limits or request additional verification to prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Security of Payments

Industry Standards: We use PCI DSS compliant payment gateways and industry-standard security measures.

We use industry-standard payment gateways that are PCI DSS compliant. Where supported, card issuers may require 3-D Secure or similar step-up authentication.

Your full card details are not stored on our servers. All payment processing is handled by our secure payment processors.

Our site uses HTTPS/SSL to protect data in transit.

Security Notice: No method of transmission is 100% secure. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account or card.

5. Currency & FX

All transactions are processed in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £), as indicated on the top-up page.

If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank may apply FX conversion and additional fees.

FX Notice: We are not responsible for your bank's exchange rates or charges.

6. Taxes, Receipts & Invoices

Prices shown include or exclude taxes where applicable and as indicated at checkout.

After successful purchase, you will receive a receipt to your account email.

Business Users may download an invoice from the account area where available.

7. Pricing Errors & Availability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accurate pricing and availability. If we identify a material pricing error or a system fault affecting your order:

  • We may cancel the affected transaction and refund the charged amount (if already settled), or
  • Offer you the choice to proceed at the correct price

Features, Token bundles, and prices may be updated from time to time (see Section 11).

8. Refunds, Cancellations & Failed Jobs

Refund Policy: Detailed refund rules are outlined in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Our refund rules for Tokens and failed/defective generations are defined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, including:

  • Consumers' cooling-off rules for unused Tokens
  • Non-refundability of spent Tokens
  • Technical faults and service credits

If payment is declined, reversed, or charged back, Tokens credited from that payment may be deducted, and access to paid features may be restricted pending resolution.

9. Chargebacks, Fraud & Abuse

Warning: Chargebacks during an open refund request may result in account suspension.

If you initiate a chargeback while a refund request is open, the matter becomes a payment dispute handled via your issuer. We will provide evidence (order IDs, timestamps, Token usage).

We may suspend or limit accounts in cases of suspected:

  • Fraud
  • Stolen cards
  • Repeated unwarranted chargebacks
  • Abuse of the payment system

Where a chargeback is upheld, corresponding Tokens may be removed from your balance. Continued abuse may result in account termination under our Terms & Conditions.

10. Compliance (Sanctions/AML/KYC)

You confirm you are not a sanctioned person and are not purchasing on behalf of any sanctioned party or restricted jurisdiction.

Legal Requirement: Purchases by sanctioned individuals or entities are prohibited under UK/EU/US law.

We may conduct proportionate anti-fraud/AML checks and request information to verify the legitimacy of a transaction where required by law or our providers.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Payment Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page and/or communicated by email to registered users. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the latest version.

Future Transactions Only: Updates apply to future transactions and do not retroactively change completed purchases.
